Brewer BR-9915
Brewer BR-9915
State of the art, heavy duty design is why the the BR-9915 MTA Double Arbor Gang Saw is so highly sought after. With many features such as "turn of the knob" hydraulic feed control, solid, reinforced steel powered rolls, and all heavy duty guards separates this machine from others alike.
- Solid steel powered rolls, machine cut diamond rolls with hard chrome plating, double drive shafted to extend life of rolls
- 8 Knife Planer Head - high speed steel knifes - 8.5" cutting circle 15" wide
- Hydraulic Feed - Controlled easily by the turn of a knob
- Special engineered clamping nut replaces need for dead blow hammer
- All heavy duty guards
- Available with 6" or 8” tall cutting capacity
- Rolls
- Solid steel powered rolls (machine cut diamond pattern rolls with hard chrome plating)
- 11 on bottom and 7 on top (5" OD)
- Double drive shafted to allow them to be flipped over after one side is worn therefore doubling the life of the rolls
- Bottom roll bearings are mounted on outside of machine for cleaner environment and easy maintenance
- Powered by hydraulic motors
- Serpentine chain drive with bushed and hardened sprockets
- Planer Head
- 8 knife design (high speed steel knives)
- 8 1/2" cutting circle 15" wide, 2 3/16" bearings driven by a 40HP motor at 3600 RPM TEFC with banded belt drive
- Planing height can be adjusted from 3/4" to 6"
- Hydraulic Feed
- Hydraulic feed speed can be varied by the turn of a knob
- Hydraulic systems consist of 15HP 1800 RPM hydraulic drive and lift unit with 30 gallon tank, variable volume piston pump, and (2) Char-Lynn hydraulic motors
- Heating element designed to heat hydraulic fluid during low temperatures / cold start-up. Requires 110 power supply
- Arbors
- Saw arbors are 2 15/16" diameter, with (3) 2 15/16" bearings, Sleeved with tapered end cone for quick set up
- Special rated bearings on arbors to hold up under high speed)
- Spacers 5" O.D. with (2) 3/8" keys hold the thin saw firmly in the cut
- Chrome chatter plates on both sides of the cut reduce chatter and extend blade life
- has two moveable positions
- The up position is for 12" diameter blades and running up to a 6" tall cant
- When running nominal 4" tall cants, you can easily lower the top arbor and switch to 10" diameter blades
- Brewer Difference
- Special engineered clamping nut replaces need for dead blow hammer. This nut goes against finishing spacer and four bolts are tightened down with a torque wrench.
- All major frame sides - 1" plate for long life, smooth operation & less vibration, therefore getting as thin a kerf as possible
- All heavy duty guards.
- Available with 6" or 8” tall cutting capacity
